Japan Desk/Business Development Associate

We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Japan Desk Associate to join our Business Development team. In this role, you will support and strengthen relationships with Japanese clients and partners, while contributing to the growth of our presence in the Japanese market.

You will work closely with business development managers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to identify opportunities, manage client relationships, and support market entry and growth initiatives related to Japan.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Support business development activities for the Japan Desk, including client outreach, follow-ups, and relationship management
  • Identify new business opportunities and assist in lead generation within the Japanese market
  • Prepare pitch materials, proposals, and market research tailored to Japanese clients
  • Act as a point of coordination between Japanese clients and internal teams
  • Maintain CRM records and track business development pipelines
  • Assist with meetings, presentations, and business trips (as required)
  • Ensuring a high-quality client onboarding experience by correctly setting up the services provided to new clients, guiding the client through and monitoring all services in the start-up phase
  • Providing administrative support to team Business Development by ensuring the detailed and correct administration of clients
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments in Japan

Requirements

Fluency in both Japanese and English, written and spoken, is essential, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across a variety of business contexts and with diverse stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Economics, or a related field with at least 2 years of experience in business development, sales, consulting, or a client-facing role
  • Strong understanding of Japanese business culture and professional etiquette
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; CRM experience is a plus


A certificate of conduct (VOG) is required for this position. A reference check is part of the hiring process.

本ポジションは、日本のお客様やパートナーとの関係を深め、日本市場での当社の事業拡大に貢献する役割を担います。

事業開発部門マネージャー、社内各チーム、社外の関連機関や取引先と密接に連携し、日本に関連する市場参入および成長機会の発掘、顧客関係の管理、各種サポートを行っていただきます。

主な業務内容

・Japan Deskにおける事業開発活動のサポート(顧客へのアプローチ、フォローアップ、関係構築など)

・日本市場での新規案件の発掘や顧客開拓のサポート

・日本のクライアント向けの提案資料、企画書、マーケットリサーチの作成

・日本のクライアントと社内の複数チーム間の調整・窓口業務

・顧客情報の管理および案件の進捗管理

・各種会議、プレゼンテーション、出張(必要に応じて)のサポート

・新規クライアントに対する、Briddgeとの円滑な取引開始に向けた支援(提供サービスの適切な設定および初期段階の進行管理)

・クライアント情報の正確かつ詳細な管理と、事業開発部門チームへの各管理業務サポート

・日本市場における市場動向、競合、業界動向の把握

応募要件

日本語および英語の読み書き・会話において高い流暢さを有し、多様なビジネスシーンやさまざまな関連機関や取引先に対して、明確かつプロフェッショナルなコミュニケーションができる方。

・ビジネス、国際関係、経済学、または関連分野の学士号を有し、事業開発、営業、コンサルティング、または顧客対応業務において2年以上の実務経験

・日本のビジネス文化および商習慣に対する深い理解

・優れたコミュニケーション能力、プレゼンテーション能力、組織力

・主体的で細部に注意を払い、スピード感のある環境で働ける方

・MS Office / Google Workspaceの使用経験(CRMの使用経験があれば尚可)
